We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant than Cath Hogan for our wedding on January 25th in beautiful Huskisson!!!Despite the distance, as it was a destination wedding for us, Cath made communication seamless and stress-free, guiding us through the legalities with ease. Meeting her the day before felt like catching up with an old friend—she went over every detail, gave us great pointers for photos (even with an unexpected but adorable furry photo-bomber when a passerby’s dog wandered into our shots haha), and ensured everything flowed smoothly.On the day, she coordinated beautifully with our ring bearers and the guest handling the music, making sure everything was perfectly timed and stress-free. She even had the readings printed in a lovely book for those coming up to read, which was such a thoughtful touch that made the ceremony feel even more special. Our guests loved her warm and personable presence, and it was clear how much care she put into making our day perfect.What truly stood out was her incredible attention to detail—even down to checking our dress code so she could blend in perfectly and maintain the special atmosphere of our day. To top it all off, she even joined our guests for the start of our small reception for a drink, which we really appreciated. Whenever I envisioned my wedding day, I always knew I wanted a small gathering of family and friends along with a beautiful yet casual ceremony. I wanted the day to feel easy and stress free and focus more on enjoying the day with loved ones. We are so happy we found Cath as she was the most perfect fit for our special day. Cath is a terrific celebrant and did a wonderful service for our wedding ceremony. She is friendly, down to earth and very relaxed and was the perfect fit for us and our beach wedding. The biggest thing I would like to thank Cath for is when I spoke to her about my phobia of public speaking and that I was very nervous about the day she didn't dismiss me and say " oh you will be fine" instead she was very supportive and made me feel that if I wasn't coping well on the day she would have my back, this in turn made me feel much better and I was able to make it though the ceremony without my anxiety taking over. Cath is so caring and takes the time to get to know the family involved so as to ensure that all needs are met . I have met so many ‘plastic’ celebrants who just read out of the book this is certainly not the case with Cath I have found her to be down to earth and sympathetic plus a lot of fun especially at weddings.
